Movement For Every Size

So my knee is out of alignment and it hurts like a mother whenever I walk, and due to an old sprain my other ankle is weak and screams every time I misstep. This has been detrimental to my going to the gym and it's frankly making me want to yell at my legs to WORK ALREADY. Advil helps but when I get done with work/class all I want to do is cradle my knee and sleep, not move more.

So has anything been keeping you all from moving the way you like, mentally or physically?

Movement For Every Size

[Current Mood |nerdy]

So one of my problems about beginning movement as an adult is that I have never had a very good sense of balance.  I fall a lot even with both feet on the ground.  :)  So wheeled sports tend to intimidate me.  But I loved both biking and roller-skating as a kid (even though I fell a lot then too!)  And now that my daughter is turning 7 next month, she's starting to do some of these things and I'd like to do them too.

I want to remember that exercise is fun, if that makes sense!

So on that note, I don't have a bike and I asked for this for Christmas.  I think the three wheels will help me with the balance and the basket will help us take things along without weighing me down with a backpack.

Honestly, I don't think I'll get it.  It's very tight, financially, this Christmas.  But if not, maybe I'll get it for myself with my tax refund.

What do you guys think?  I know it's dorky but I can rock dorky!
